Baptism

Baptism

We believe baptism is a public proclamation of faith and new life in Jesus Christ. It is an outward public testimony of an inward transformation. If you would like to learn more about baptism, schedule a baptism or speak to someone about salvation, we are here to help.

Schedule Your Baptism

Whether you have recently made a decision to follow Christ or made that decision years ago, we are ready to help you take that next step. If you have questions or would like to speak with someone, simply complete this contact form.

Baptism FAQ

If you are interested in being baptized or have any questions about the process, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We would be happy to help answer any questions you may have and provide more information about the significance of baptism.

Baptism symbolizes that our old self is gone (going under the water) and our new self has come (coming above the water). There is nothing magical in the water, for it alone does not make us a believer in Christ, but rather it’s a declaration to the world that you’ve made a decision in your heart to make Jesus the Lord of your life. Baptism is one the most powerful ways we can carry the name of Jesus and the first step of obedience as we follow the example that Jesus laid out for us in Matthew 3.

You can sign up to be baptized during our available weekend services.

Find an available date that works for your schedule.

Although baptism can happen during one of our weekend services, Baptism Weekend is a special weekend where as a church we pause to celebrate all of those who have proclaimed their new life in Christ. Keep an eye out on our events page to see dates for the next Baptism Weekend.

We’ll have a pastor in the water to ask if you have followed Jesus as your Lord and Savior and celebrate you being baptized in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. If you would like someone special to immerse you just ask your campus aheaad of time and we’ll work with you to make it happen!
